Answer yes or no to the following questions:
Do you ...
Now, add up your "yes" responses to see what your score means:
What about money, beauty, fame and admiration? The truth is, studies show that your financial status, external circumstances and life events account for no more than 15 percent of your happiness quotient.

I don't particularly like yes/no answers. When it comes to feelings, 'yes' and 'no' don't pick up nuances. There are a few depression scales like this. I don't like them.
And I guess when it's all boiled down there is just one question to ask and that's 'Are you happy?', or:
'how do you feel today?'
Here's a survey I've put together to test the water. It's a 10 point graduated scale based on how you feel today. You can register how you feel anywhere on the scale between (and including) absolutely fantastic and dreadful.
Do the readers of the Health and Fitness Express feel better than, say the readers of Don Ardell's Wellness Report, or the staff at the George Institute for International Health?
As soon as we get enough results I'll report back.
If you'd like to feed in some questions that I can incorporated in to a more expansive Health and Fitness Express 10 point happiness survey please click here.
CHAMPAGNE SPELLING!
How bad was that. Slap bang at the beginning of the second paragraph in my last newsletter was a spelling error. I spelt 'champagne' incorrectly. I'm grateful to one of Adelaide's leading word detectives for pointing out my error.
The spell checker thought I must have been writing about Champaign Illinois. I've been there. It's the home of Human Kinetics the world's largest publisher of physical education text books and where 'on the 4th of July, the corn is knee high!'
Now to pay for my sins I've got something very special for you. You may have seen it before. I've watched it maybe a dozen times and it keeps coming back.
(While you're there, don't even think of missing the clips of Andrew Johnston, Faryl Smith and Connie Talbot.)
