About Us

The  Fit and Healthy Online website has been designed by Canberra-based physical educator, John Miller, a corporate health seminar presenter, author and fitness practitioner.

As well as being scientifically-based, the  Fit and Healthy Online website comes with over 40 years practical experience in the physEd and fitness fields.

About John Miller

John Miller is a graduate physical educator who started off teaching in high schools, worked for the PhysEd national professional association, the South Australian Recreation Institute and the Australian Institute of Sport.

He was proud to be the publisher of the Daily Physical Education Program, the world’s most comprehensive physical education program for primary school children.

He now runs an integrated corporate health management  business and delivers seminars, health audits and health assessments to organisations around Australia.

In his time John has developed the

  • 20m run test of aerobic fitness,
  • the Platinum Fitness Challenge
  • the Aerabyte aerobic fitness prescription
  • the Hourglass Diet
  • the Crook Back Clinic
  • the Complete Fitness Workout
  • the Global Backcare website.

With the establishment of Fit and Healthy Online he’s bringing his books, programs and assessments to a world-wide audience.

He’s about your average level of fitness and can run about 45 laps of the 20m run course in five minutes. He can do about a good minute’s worth of situps and pressups. He’ll take on any other 65 year old at double-unders in a minute and 25m butterfly.
