The International Institute for Junk Medicine is an organisation dedicated to exposing frauds, hoaxes and swifties pulled by the selective-evidence-based junk medical-pharmaceutical industry (JMPI).

 

The JMPI is that giant, blood sucking squid whose outstretched tentacles are plundering the good health (and government treasuries) of communities around the globe.

 

In the history of the world, the JMPI is a relatively recent phenomenon, (about 25 years old) but in that time the hegemony it has claimed over the health spectrum is threatening to dominate (if not destroy) other sections of that spectrum which provide advice and services that assist people to maintain good health and stimulate recuperative power.

 

You'll know this industry by it's fruits. Where-ever it goes it has the miraculous capacity to turn good health into bad -

 

a.  through it's prescription of drugs which mask symptoms of body system dysfunctions without treating their causes.

 

b. by disassociating themselves from therapeutic treatments which stimulate recuperative power.

 

This is the industry that diverts people's attention away from doing what they need to do to keep themselves in good shape.

 

This is the industry that indoctrinates people into an acceptance of the pharmaceutical way of life.

 

It's the industry that drags money out of communities along lines only dreamed of by the Catholic Church.

 

It's the industry that makes tablets for a zac and sells them for a brick.

 

MEMBERSHIP

The only member to date is self-styled Director and Life Governator of the Institute, Canberra physical educator John Miller, who is always open to invitations to swan around the world, stay in flash pubs and deliver lectures which draw attention to the impact of the junk medical industry. More importantly though, he prefers to give lectures that inspire and motivate people to keep themselves fit and healthy to the best of their ability.
